From the Oct 19 issue: what it means for you
Prices are holding, but contracts are down and supply is up in every large Valley city. The shift is showing up in negotiating room, not headline prices. Sellers: price it right the first time.
Scottsdale and Cave Creek
Scottsdale is still the strongest market on Cromford's list at 144.2, and it's the only city where demand rose from a month ago. Even so, its supply is up 14%, so its index slipped 9%. Cave Creek is at 111.4, down 14% in a month. It's still a seller's market, and the closest to balanced of the five seller's markets on the list.
